Monsoon in Corbett

Destinations : Corbett National Park - Kosi River - Bhakrakot

Day 1 : Arrive at Camp for lunch. A walk in the evening, in the surrounding forests accompanied by our resident naturalist. The walk takes you through some lush greens forests with an abundance of newly evolving animal and plant life. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 2 : Early breakfast and depart for a full day trip on the raft in the Kosi River with our team of expert river guides.
The trip along the lush green valley is breathtakingly beautiful.

Sambhar, spotted deer and if lucky, elephants could be seen on this ride. Lunch is served by the river. The day ends with a swim in the Kosi with hot "chai".

Back to Camp by evening. Overnight at camp.

Day 3 : Early morning walk to the village at Bhakrakot to observe the local lifestyles of the area. Visit the village school, a local home, the farms and cultivation around the village.

As a whole the visit to the village helps one understand the methods of farming and cultivation, the local lifestyles and interaction with the local folks.

Back to Camp for breakfast. Depart for onward destination.
